This Link explains how Alumni Email forwarding has been discontinued.
Alumni Email Forwarding Has Been Discontinued
Starting with the class of 2021, we are no longer offering this service due to security and compliance concerns. Additionally, the service will be discontinued for previous alumni as of November 1, 2021.
Why is BC discontinuing Alumni Email Forwarding?
We don’t want you to miss an important email, and we can no longer ensure that with this service. Due to the adoption of increased security practices (e.g. stringent spam filtering, use of DMARC) by major email services, email forwarding is no longer a reliable means of messaging. Forwarded mail is getting flagged as spam, or simply dropped unbeknownst to the intended recipient. When you use a forward-only email address, you run the risk of not receiving mail. Changes like this in industry best practices are driven by threat actors and hackers using email forwarding to their advantage, see this bulletin from the FBI for one example.
